National Geographic 1964 |
It's been brought to my attention that some people are having problems reading the smaller text on some of these ads. Blogger doesn't give me much control of the zooming capabilities of my pictures, so when an ad features small text, I'll try and include a typed-out version in my post.
Ad text:
Someday there'll be another car that combines the niceties of life with the thrill of the open road as neatly as the Starfire does. But not this year. From its bold grille to its exclusive dual chambered exhausts, this beauty's new action silhouette says '64 belongs to Starfire! Sample the response of the 345-h.p. Starfire V-8. The quiet authority of Hydra-Matic, power brakes, power steering. Along with leather-trimmed buckets and a sports console, they're all part of the package! One thing's for certain: When you flip the key to a Starfire, you're pulling the pin on one of 1964's most exciting performers.
